.The Boyfriend Sweater.

"Are you really going out in that? It's cold out there."

Winter had always harped on him about not wearing a jacket when it was cold outside. Ender was a big guy and as such he had a certain level of built-in insulation. Nonetheless the cold air still chilled him as he walked out the door. That was the feeling he liked most about the winter time; the crisp, cool air against his skin and the fresh scent of newly fallen snow curling around his nose. It was so often with his work at the construction site that he was hot and his clothes were soaked in sweat that this sort of climate was a welcome change.

"I'll be fine," he murmured to himself as his feet crunched through the snow and left large footprints in his wake. In truth the reason why Winter was his favourite season wasn't entirely due to the weather. This time of year brought snowball fights, hot chocolate, and cozy nights curled up beneath a blanket with another warm body. It was this last part that he liked the most. He knew that, when he returned to the warm inside of his apartment, Winter would glance up from his book and frown worryingly at his cheeks reddened by the cool wind and attempt to warm his chilled hands with his own. He would then invite him under the blanket and curl up beside him to keep him warm.

Ender smiled to himself and continued walking through the pure white snow. "Yes, I'll be fine."
